Keep Calm and Join the Outreach

Join our grassroots effort to support public education funding in Eagle County. In the state of Colorado, the voter is vital. Every penny of funding that goes to our public schools must be approved by voters. This Colorado Public Radio (CPR) story explains how voters created our current funding deficit.

To address Eagle County Schools’ highest priority educational and facility needs, the Board of Education is considering placing a mill levy override and bond measure on the November 8, 2016 ballot. However, nothing is set in stone.... YET.

The recent Public Opinion Survey results have been released and, at the moment, a majority of the poll takers support the ballot initiative. For more information, read this June 16 Vail Daily story: Support strong, so far, for proposed school tax hikes on November ballot.
